Obituary of Robert "Bob" Jassa

Bridgewater: Robert Bob Edward Jassa, 64, died peacefully on Thursday, December 14, 2006. Born in Plainfield, NJ, he lived in Bridgewater and Lavallette, NJ for over 25 years. Bob graduated Plainfield High School and College of St. Leo, Dade City, FL. He was employed at Morrison Steel Co., and for the past 15 years has worked as a realtor for Prudential NJ Properties in Martinsville, NJ. Bob was a volunteer for the Plainfield Rescue Squad for 15 years. He was predeceased in death by his parents, Klement M. Jassa and wife, Genevieve. Bob is survived by two sister, Clare Ann Jassa Snyder and her husband Edward of Raleigh, NC and Barbara Jassa Taylor and her husband Tom of Martinsville, NJ; niece Kristin Snyder Kash and her husband Gregory of Raleigh; nephews, Michael Snyder of Atlanta, GA, Tim Taylor and Scott Taylor both of Martinsville and grand nephew, Mason Kash of Raleigh. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 19th at 9 a.m. from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Boulevard, Watchung followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, Martinsville. Interment will be in Neshanic Cemetery, Hillsborough. Visitation will be on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. in the funeral home.
