Obituary of William Joseph Willard

William Joseph Willard, age 74, died Saturday December 16, 2006, peacefully at his home after a long illness. Born in Jersey City, he had resided in Green Brook for 39 years. He was a graduate of Seton Hall Law School and had worked as Vice President of Human Resources for Clarkwood Corporation in Totowa, NJ. William was an Army Veteran. Surviving are his wife, Helga (Drewes) Willard; his son William Willard; his daughters Suzanne Howell and Patricia Burns; seven grandchildren Elizabeth Howell, Erin Howell, Stacy Burns, Jacqueline Burns, James Burns, Liam Willard and Morgan Willard. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 21, at 10:00 am at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Interment will follow. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 20th, from 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his name to Atlantic Hospice, 33 Bleeker Street, Millburn, NJ 07041.
