Obituary of Richard A. Kaiser
Devoted husband, father and Pop-Pop Warren: Mr. Richard Kaiser, 66, died Sunday, December 31, 2006 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Born in Jersey City and raised in Union, he moved to Warren 28 years ago. Prior to retiring in 2002, Mr. Kaiser was employed as a tool and die maker for Carteret Die Casting in Somerset for 18 years. Mr. Kaiser was a communicant of Our Lady of the Mount R.C. Church in Warren and as an avid hunter and fisherman, was a member of Warren Blue Ridge Sportsman. Having devoted his life to his family, Richard's greatest joy was the time he spent with his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife Sharron Kaiser, a son, Richard of Holland Twp., a daughter, Kimberley Marques and her husband John of Warren and two grandchildren, John and Amanda Marques. He is also survived by his loving mother-in-law, Lynn Battiato. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at 9:45 am at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, followed by a 10:15 am funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Mount R.C. Church, Warren and entombment at Somerset Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Basking Ridge. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
