Obituary of Tyshawn Smith

Plainfield: Tyshawn Shakei Smith, 24, died on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick from a brief illness. He leaves to cherish a father, Kelvin M. Carter (Lillie); a mother, Celeste D. Smith Green (Warren). Preceded in death maternal grandparents, Lester Breelove and Juanita Smith Breelove, paternal grand parents, John Major and Sarah Carter; three brothers, Donald Forrester, Jamaar Warner and Kelvin Carter, Jr. all of Plainfield; three sisters, Stacey and Stephanie Ruffin of South Carolina; Djnea Carter of Plainfield; host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and a devoted friend, Shakira Walker. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 17th at 11:00 a.m. in the Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Cremation is private.
