Obituary of Angelina Barbara

Warren: Mrs. Angelina Apisa Barbara, age 88, died on Tuesday, February 06, 2007 at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield after a brief illness. Mrs. Barbara was born and raised in Plainfield until moving to Warren in 1969. She was a communicant of Saint Bernard's R.C. Church in Plainfield and a member of their Rosary Society. She loved to cook, crochet and have her family around her. Mrs. Barbara is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Barbara; her parents Francis and Madeline Apisa; 3 brothers, Michael, Joseph, James; 3 sisters, Mary Cembrola, Philomena Soriano and Catherine Cotignola. She is survived by her children, Louis Joseph Barbara and his wife Shirley of Bedminster; Robert Barbara and his wife Joanne of Warren and Nancy DeFillipo and her husband Robert of Smithville; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. The funeral will be held on Friday, February 9th at 9:15 a.m. from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Bouelvard, Watchung followed by a 10:15 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at Our Lady of the Mount R.C. Church, Warren. Interment will be in Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield.
