Obituary of Robert S. Berman

Robert Scott Berman, 47, native of Plainfield and resident of Old Bridge, was a loving, honorable, kind and generous son, brother and friend. He was the first person to be by your side if you needed help and freely gave his support without passing judgment. He was the happiest when he could do good things for the people he loved and was a gift to everyone who loved him. He had many talents and actually helped create one of the first huge Chanukah menorahs that Chabad erects each year at the holiday. Son of the late Daniel Berman of Plainfield, Robert will be sorely missed by his many friends and his family: mother, Sandra F. Berman of Plainfield; sister, Ellen Berman of Woodbridge; uncle, Jay Fromm of North Brunswick; cousins, Keif and Alla Fromm of North Brunswick; cousin, Keira Fromm of Chicago; aunt Jana Scher of Hardwick, NJ; aunt, Phyllis Berman and Arthur Waskow of Philadelphia, PA; uncle, Fred and Kaitie Sher of Fairlawn; cousin, Morissa Sher of Philadelphia, PA; and cousin, Josh Sher of Woodland Hills, CA. Funeral Services for Robert will take place on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at 1:00 pm at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung (www.higginsfuneralhome.com) followed by interment at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Iselin. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his memory to your favorite charity or to: Temple Sholom-Building Fund, P.O. Box 539, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076
