Obituary of Nina M. Gelb

Nina M. (Weaver) Gelb, 87, died Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at her home. Born in Louisiana, she resided in Short Hills for 27 years before moving to Watchung 25 years ago. A WWII US Army Veteran, Mrs. Gelb was a registered nurse for 15 years, retiring from the Veterans Administration Hospital in the Bronx. Mrs. Gelb was an artist who also loved to garden. Her husband, Dr. Jerome Gelb predeceased her in 1987. Surviving are a daughter, Claudia G. Sauchelli and her husband Paul of Watchung and two granddaughters, Erin and Jillian Sauchelli. Graveside services were held privately at Oheb Sholom Cemetery in Hillside under the direction of the Higgins Home for Funerals in Watchung.
