Obituary of Joseph Michael Tremarco

Millington: Joseph Michael Tremarco, 23, died on Thursday, March 29, 2007 in North Plainfield. He was thoughtlessly stolen from us suddenly in the prime of his life. A kind, loving, gentle young man with a heart of gold, he would always lend a hand to his fellow man. As the owner of J. Tremarco Auto Scrap Recycling in Millington for the past four years, he was a successful businessman who called himself a Scrapaholic. He was a 2002 graduate of Watchung Hills Regional High School in Watchung. That little boy with his mischievous smile, had grown into a strong, fine young man. He was well on his way in his lifes journey, pursuing happiness and the American Dream. His grandfather, Thomas Tremarco predeceased him. Surviving Joe are his parents, Debra and Anthony Tremarco; his older brother, Anthony and younger brother, Ryan; the love of his life, his fianc, Babe Carmela Gonnella, her parents, Rosa and Pasquale Gonnella and her brother Michael and Joes grandparents, Edna Tremarco and Raymond and Carole Nelson. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. We will miss you dearly our sweet, smiling Joseph. Funeral Services will be held at 9:00 am on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, followed by a 10 am Mass of Resurrection at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Stirling and interment at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Donations in his memory to the Long Hill Twp. Police Department, 264 Mercer Street Stirling, N.J. 07980 or the Mt. Bethel Volunteer Fire Department, 128 Mt. Bethel Rd., Warren, NJ 07069 would be deeply appreciated.
