Obituary of George K. Boghdan

Piscataway: George K. Boghdan, age 79, died on Friday, April 20, 2007 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. He was born in North Plainfield and had lived there before moving to Piscataway 36 years ago. Mr. Boghdan received his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1952 from Rutgers University majoring in Economics. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Boghdan was a Real Estate Broker, Appraise, and instructor of Real Estate. He enjoyed photography and cooking Middle Eastern food. Mr. Boghdan was a former 50 year member of the Plainfield Masonic Lodge, the Plainfield Chess Club and the Plainfield Camera Club. He is predeceased by his sister, Shamsay Habeeb. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy S. Boghdan; his daughter, Dr. Sara K. Boghdan of Piscataway; his brothers, Saleen K. Boghdan of North Plainfield and Dr. Kalil Boghdan of Hamilton, MA and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 24th at 8:45 am at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:00 Mass of Resurrection at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Piscataway. Cremation is private. Visitation will be on Monday from 6-9 pm only.
