Obituary of Sandra J. Ross

Lehighton: Sandra J. Ross, age 69, died on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA. She was born in Jersey City and had lived in North Plainfield for over 20 years before moving to Lehighton, PA in 2002. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Ross worked for RBH Dispersions in Bound Brook. She was a communicant of St. Josephs R.C. Church in North Plainfield and Our Lady, Queen of Peace Church in the Poconos. She was a Girl Scout Leader and had stayed active in the Girl Scout organization. Mrs. Ross was an avid motor sport enthusiast (gearhead). She had many friends in the Beltzville Lake Association. Surviving are her husband, Frederick Ross; her children, Gregory Ross and his wife Susan of Warren, Lynn Stravato of Flemington, Tracey Ross of Hewitt, NJ and Fred Ross of Middlesex. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 30th at 10:15 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Josephs R.C. Church in North Plainfield. Cremation is private. Visitation will be on Sunday from 6-9 pm at the funeral home.
