Obituary of Sophie Sulzberg

Sophie (Handel) Sulzberg, age 92, died on Monday, May 14, 2007 at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center. Born in New York City she had resided in Plainfield. Mrs. Sulzberg was a Teacher for nineteen year with the North Plainfield Board of Education before retiring in 1977. She had been a member of the JCC in Scotch Plains. She is predeceased by her husband Sidney Sulzberg. Mrs. Sulzberg is survived by her daughters Rosalind V. Rothman and Susan Klein; also surviving are four grandchildren Joel Rothman; Alissa Rothman-Doherty; Robert Klein and Ellen Klein-Haber; two great-grandchildren Ashley Rothman and Sean Doherty. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield.
