Obituary of Robert J. Ronzo

Robert Ronzo, age 86, died on Sunday, May 13, 2007. Mr. Ronzo was born and raised in Plainfield before moving to Port Charlotte, FL. twenty-five years ago. Before retiring in 1983 he was a Foreman for Villa Construction in Clark for over 30 years. He was a Sgt. in the Army and a Veteran of World War II and had been a member of the VFW Post 506 in Plainfield and the American Legion in Florida. In his spare time Robert enjoyed gardening and went fishing everyday. He is survived by his daughter Carol Villani and her husband Joseph of Green Brook; two grandchildren Gina Villani of Bound Brook and Joseph Villani, Jr. of Green Brook. A Mass of Resurrection will be on Friday, May 18th, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephs R. C. Church, North Plainfield. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 17th, from 2-4 & 7-9 at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung.
