Obituary of Ronald E. Barker

Piscataway: Ronald entered into eternal peace on May 31st, 2007 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was the husband of Ann (Clark) Barker; his daughter Laura Disbrow, her husband Stephen, their children, Matthew, Dana and Shawn of Rochester, Minnesota; daughter, Judith Metallo and her husband Robert, their children, Jeffrey, Melissa and Brian of Middlesex, NJ; son Robert, his wife, Celeste, their children Kevin, Scott, John and Monica of North Caldwell, NJ; son Gregory and his wife Paris of Somerville, Massachusetts; a brother, George of Florida and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Margaret and George. Ronald was a graduate of Bayonne High School and Lincoln Technical Institute. Ronald moved to Piscataway 40 years ago from Bayonne, NJ. He started his career as a design engineer with Johnson and Johnson. He later became the owner and President of Eagle Technical Services from 1972 until his retirement in 1995. Ronald was a member of the Chamber of Commerce in Piscataway, NJ; Knights of Columbus, Bayonne, NJ and a proud member of St. Vincents Cadets, Bayonne, NJ. Ronald was a member of the US Army serving in Germany from 1956 to 1958. He created many memories for his children through his furniture making and his love of his model trains for his grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 4th at 9:15 am at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung followed by a 10:00 am Mass of Resurrection at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Piscataway. Entombment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
