Obituary of Dorothy Trupo

Dorothy (Dot) Trupo was born in 1907 and lived most of her life in Warren. She attended North Plainfield High School and Drake Business School. Mrs. Trupo worked as a bookkeeper for many years at Teppers and Rosenbaums Department Stores in Plainfield. Mrs. Trupo was a much-loved lady who loved people. Many friends visited her and were always welcome. She had a wonderful sense of humor and always loved to sing and play the piano. She was predeceased by her husband, John Trupo, all of her eleven siblings and her two daughters, Marjorie and Jean. Dorothy Trupo is survived by a daughter, Carol DeFilippis, a son, Donald Wallen, 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 10 am at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, followed by interment at Springdale United Methodist Church Cemetery in Warren. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
