Obituary of Milton P. Freiday
Milton Bub Freiday, age 89, died on Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at his home.
Milton was born and raised in Warren. He was the owner operator of Freidays Diary (your local milkman) and also owner operator of the Warren Lawn Mower Shop. Milton was a WII Veteran U.S. Army Air Corps (a bombardier in the European theater stationed in England.
Milton was a life member of the Washington Valley Fire Company and he enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting and just puttering around his property.
He is predeceased by his brother, Donald Freiday and his grandson Michael Sheehy.
He is survived by his wife Alice F. (Lauer) Freiday; his three daughters, Elaine Sheehy of North Plainfield, Gail Gallo and her husband Neil, Beth Whiting and her husband Jeff, both of Somerset; one sister, Hazel Mundy of Ringoes; seven grandchildren, George Sheehy, Lisa Macpherson, Anthony, Laura and Jennifer Gallo and Madison Whiting; three great grandchildren, Kaylie, Kelssey Macpherson and Brian Potts.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 7th at 11 a.m. in the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Boulevard, Watchung. Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Internment will be in Trinity United Church Cemetery, King George Road, Warren
