Obituary of Mary T. Bonnell
Flemington: Mary T. Bonnell, age 78 died on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Hunterdon Care Center in Flemington. She was born in Elizabeth, grew up in Garwood and had lived in Fanwood and Branchburg before moving to Flemington in 2004.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Bonnell was a tax preparer.
She was a past member of St. Bernards Parish in Raritan, a past president of the Womens Club of Branchburg and a member of the Fox Hollow Golf Club.
Mrs. Bonnell was involved in 4-H programs, winning awards in needlepoint, gardening, knitting and crocheting. In 1975, she started the Entertainers Baton and Dance Company, a non-profit organization dedicated to youth. In 1986 she helped found the Star Maker School of Performing Arts. She also was a costume designer and seamstress.
She is predeceased by her husband, George N. Bonnell in 2004.
Surviving are her sons, Jeffrey Bonnell and his wife Susan of Scotch Plains and Corey Bonnell and his wife Christine of Stafford, VA; her daughter, Leesa Csolak and her husband Keith of Flemington; her brother Frank Tabor of Westfield and her grandchildren, Michael, Jeremy, Alexandra, Madison, Stephen, Kurt and Kevin
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 9th at 11:00 am at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ followed by interment at St. Gertrudes Cemetery in Colonia. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9.
