I would lile to wish my deepest sympathies to Walter's family. Walt and I worked together and were friends for a while before going our seperate ways. He was one of the funniest people I have ever met and was as care free as the day is long. We hadn't spoken for close to 15 years, but hearing the news brought back a lot of great memories.
My sincerest condolences.

Hearing about Walt's passing was a shock and very saddining. He was a good and loyal friend to me for many years both during and after high school. Life moves on, and we hadn't seen or spoken to each other in better than ten years. This news brought back an onslaught of great and funny memories of a guy who was simply a genuine and good hearted person, which made it feel like we had just spoken the day before. My heartfelt condolences go out to the Stine family.

I was so sad to hear about Walter passing away. What a nice guy. Always liked playing the sax and joking around in band class. I'm thinking about Walter hanging out and laughing. I'm remembering that nickname Wally and smiling. I enjoyed my high school years with him. I'm so sorry to read that he passed away. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Catherine

Walter made my memories of being in horrid marching band in High School very colorful. I remember hanging out with him and Rich on my parents front porch and him taking me to my first party at Jason Trainor's house. It's been almost twenty years but I still remember it vividly. My prayers are with your family.

Walter was my best friend for years. We grew apart as life went on and I moved away, but we'd always catch up on the phone, talking a lot about the past. Lots and lots of great times and memories. Walt always wanted to make sure everyone was having a good time and was happy. He was a genuine good guy.
He's moved on now, and I'm sure he's getting everything ready for the rest of us whan it's time. The beer will be cold, the grill fired up, and Walt will be there, greeting all of us and just making sure we're comfortable and happy.
Take care , pal. See you again someday.
Rich

Walter was my best friend for my junior and senior years of high school. He was so conscientious and thoughtful of me as his friend and to others. Although we grew apart in recent years he was always and will always be in my heart. I know now that he is finally out of pain and can now move on to a happier phase of life. You will be missed buddy. Fred

My most sincere condolences to the Stine family. I went to Raritan Valley Community College with Wally. We had a great time back then. I live in Texas now and had just gotten back in touch with him a few years ago. I will always remember him so fondly.
My family and I have been riding a fundraising bike ride for the past 5 years called the Tour de Cure to raise money for a cure for Diabetes. My sister also has the disease and each year we have dedicated our ride to my uncle, my sister and Wally. This year, my 8 year old daughter rode 80 miles and we raised $2,300. We are dedicated to this event and will always ride in memory of your son.
My prayers are with you and Wally. May he rest in peace.

To Vera, Roger & family-
It was with sadness that I read Walter's obituary in today's Courier. Even though I now live in Nebraska, I still read the local NJ papers via my computer.
I will always remember the day that you & Pete were in Wilson Church to have Walter dedicated to GOD right after he arrived.
You will be in my prayers at the loss of Walter. I do realize that he had a severe case of diabetes that made life rather difficut for him. I have passed the news along to son, Ron.
May you all have peace now knowing that Walter's life struggle is over.
Love, Jean
