Obituary of Allen A. Caswell, Jr.

Allen A. Caswell, Jr., age 78, died on Sunday July 29th, 2007 at his home in Piscataway. Born in Jersey City he had resided in Piscataway for many years. Allen was a self-employed Roofing Contractor for thirty years and had served with the National Guard during peacetime. He was a member of the Arbor Rescue Squad in Piscataway for 18 years. Mr. Caswell is survived by his wife Dorothy M. (Drush) Caswell; his children Allen A. Caswell, III and his wife Janet of Piscataway, Gene M. Caswell of New Brunswick, Jeffrey W. Caswell and his wife Kim of FL, Patti DeSanto and her husband Albert of Piscataway and Timothy A. Caswell of Piscataway; four sisters; two brothers and eleven grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Thursday, August 2nd, at 8:00 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield . Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday as well. Cremation will be at Somerset Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Basking Ridge. Donations can be made in his name to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, NY, NY 10016.
