Obituary of Dorothy Catherine Giordano

Dorothy Catherine Antonides Giordano, 93, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2007 at her home. She was born in Red Bank, NJ on May 28, 1914 to Howard V. and Myrtle Debra Antonides. Dorothy graduated Point Pleasant Beach High School in 1932. She married Ben Giordano on April 19, 1943. After living in Rahway, NJ and Chesterfield, IN, they built a home in 1953 in Warren, NJ and resided there with their two children. Her son, Jack H. and his wife Barbara and her daughter, Mary M, survive her. Also surviving are her two granddaughters, Dienene Catherine and Debra Mary and her husband, Christopher Dayton and their son, Nicolas Benjamin, Dorothys great-grandson. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 20th from 3 to 6 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, August 21st at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service at Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church, 42 Liberty Corner Road, Warren, NJ. Interment will be at the Bound Brook Cemetery. In honor of Dorothys life, you are invited to wear pink. Thank you.
