Obituary of Evelyn C. Sobel

Evelyn C. (Feinberg) Sobel, age 88, died on Sunday, August 19, 2007 at The Martin and Edith Stein Assisted Living Residence in Somerset. Born in Perth Amboy, she had lived in Plainfield, Piscataway and Clark before moving to Somerset four years ago. Mrs. Sobel had worked for the Plainfield Adult School for twenty years before retiring. Her family was very important to her, she cherished the times spent together. She is predeceased by her loving husband of forty years Louis Sobel in 1987. Mrs. Sobel is survived by her son Clifford and daughter-in-law Sandra; two grandchildren Steven and Laurie. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield. Interment will follow at Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ.
