Obituary of Dominick V. Tedesco

Green Brook: Dominick "Dee" V. Tedesco, age 83, died on Friday, September 14, 2007 at his home. He was born in Plainfield and had lived there before moving to Green Brook 34 years ago. Mr. Tedesco was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was the founder and owner of TBI, Inc., a home construction business, which he started in 1975 in Green Brook. Mr. Tedesco was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in Dunellen and a former communicant of St. Bernards Church in Plainfield. He belonged to the VFW Post # 506 in Plainfield. He enjoyed bowling, Atlantic City and Texas Hold-Em. He is predeceased by his parents, Antonio and Angelina Cirillo Tedesco; his brother, John Tedesco in 2007 and his sister, Anna Tedesco in 1949. Surviving are his wife, Charlotte Raff Tedesco; his 2 stepsons, Howard Raff of CT and Ira Raff of MN; his brother Marco Tedesco of NJ; his sisters, Mary Ianniell of FL, Antoinette Bowyer of NC and Christina Tedesco of NJ and a granddaughter, Erin Raff. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 18th at 8:15 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung followed by a 9:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church in Dunellen. Entombment will be at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge.
