Obituary of Frances Gonzalez

Frances Gonzalez, age 95, died peacefully at her home in Warren on Saturday, October 6, 2007. Born in Sicily, Italy, she moved to Jersey City when she was a young girl. Mrs. Gonzalez also lived in South Plainfield and Elizabeth before moving to Warren 20 years ago. Mrs. Gonzalez was a seamstress for 30 years before retiring in 1977. Mrs. Gonzalez was active with the Warren Township Senior Citizens. She was an avid world traveler who enjoyed bingo, Atlantic City and wrestling. She also enjoyed fishing and crabbing at the shore with her grandsons. She is predeceased by her husband Coston Gonzalez. Surviving is her daughter Angie Sacca and her husband Santo of Warren; her two grandsons Tommy Sacca and his wife Sue of Delaware, OH and Danny Sacca of Warren. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Wednesday October 10th at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Mount R.C. Church in Warren followed by interment at St. Gertrudes Cemetery in Colonia. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Higgins Home For Funeral, Watchung.
