Obituary of Liberta C. Riesz

Liberta C. (Costa) Riesz, age 94, died on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Connecticut, she resided in New York where she attended City College and later worked as a photographer. She moved to Warren in the late 1940s, becoming a homemaker. She loved to read and enjoyed photography. She also did volunteer work well into her eighties. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph A. Riesz. Surviving are her son Francis Riesz of Ewing Twp.; her daughter JoAnn Riesz and her husband Donald Hector of Upper Black Eddy, PA and a sister Grace Fiori of Warren. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 13th from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. The service will follow at the same address at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be at the Springdale United Methodist Church Cemetery in Warren.
