Obituary of Helene L. Lawrence

Warren: Helene Lorraine (Stephens) Lawrence, age 88, died on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Helene was born in Bellwood, PA and has resided in Warren for many years. She had worked for Western Electric; she was a school bus driver for special needs children; a choir member, and was a Sunday school teacher. Helene was a member of the Eastern Star, the Metuchen Square Dancing Club, Martinsville Methodist Church and also belonged to the Methodist Church District. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Henry Cabot Lawrence; two daughters, Beverly Joyee Lawrence Manger Webb; Barbara Jean Lawrence Gordon; two sons, Bruce Cabot Lawrence; Richard Allen Lawrence; 7 grandchildren, Paul Henry Manger, Kevin Frederick Gordon, Kelly Joan Lawrence Watkins, Katie Lawrence, David Lawrence, William Lawrence, Emily Lawrence; and 1 great-grandchild, Kayleigh Watkins. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 12th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. in Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Boulevard, Watchung. Cremation is private.
