Obituary of Catheryn M. Goger

Warren: Catheryn Mulvihill Goger, age 94, died on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at her home in Warren. She was born in Newark and raised a family while living in Roselle for 51 years. She moved with her husband to Wall Township in 1991; and has lived most recently in Warren. She was a communicant of St. Catherines Church in Spring Lake and for many years had been very involved with St. Josephs Church in Roselle. An avid bridge player and voracious reader, Kit was dedicated to word puzzles, particularly the New York Times crossword. And as a lifelong follower of American politics, she thoroughly enjoyed a lively discussion, especially at election time. Mrs. Goger was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Neil J. Goger in 1999. She is survived by her children, Robert and his wife, Kathleen of Montclair, Thomas and his wife Virginia of Minneapolis, John and his wife, Susan of Atlanta, Christopher of Los Angeles, Valerie and her husband Barry Vankat of Basking Ridge and Cory and her husband James Baldyga of Columbus, OH. Also surviving are her 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Higgins Home for Funerals, Watchung, NJ.
