Obituary of Grace M. Cleary

Mrs. Grace M. Cleary, 93, daughter of the late Thomas and Grace Osborne Victory, died Monday, October 22, 2007 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a longtime resident of Piscataway and resided in Whiting before moving to Watchung three years ago. Prior to retiring, Mrs. Cleary was employed for ten years as a registered nurse at Hamilton Nursing Home and then the Parker Nursing Home in New Brunswick. Mrs. Cleary was a graduate of Red Bank Catholic High School and Saint Vincent School of Nursing, New York City. Her husband, James L. Cleary predeceased her in 1995. Surviving are a son, John J. Cleary of Falmouth, MA; two daughters, Sr. Mary Cleary, RSM of North Plainfield and Kathleen A. Cleary of Three Bridges; a brother Thomas J. Victory of Port Orchard, Washington and a sister, Sr. Mary Emmanuel, RSM of Watchung. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at St. Catherine of Siena Chapel at McAuley Hall Health Care Center, (located on the grounds of Mt. St. Mary Academy), 1633 Rt. 22, Watchung, followed by a Mass of Resurrection on Thursday at 10:30 am and interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway. In lieu of flowers, donations to McAuley Hall Health Care Center, 1633 Rt. 22, Watchung, NJ 07069 would be appreciated.
