Obituary of John J. Cusmano

John Joseph Cusmano, age 50, died on Friday, October 26, 2007 at the Somerset Medical Center in Somerville after a long illness. John was born in Plainfield, raised in Scotch Plains and moved to Warren in 1966. He worked for Sebco Company in Green Brook as a Manager in their Parts & Service Department. John attended Glassboro State College receiving his BS degree in Accounting. He loved music and enjoyed playing his guitar, and writing lyrics. He also was an avid Yankee fan. He played baseball his entire life from childhood to adulthood, even joining a mens baseball league. He is predeceased by his father, John S. Cusmano in December of 2003. He is survived by his mother, Rose Marie Cusmano of Warren; his two brothers, Kenneth of Warren and Thomas A. and his wife Linda of PA; his sister, Adele Loigu and her husband Andy of Washington, NJ; 3 nieces and 1 nephew, Melanie, Patrick, Carolyn and Faustina. The funeral will be held on Monday, October 29th at 10 a.m. from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 11 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at Our Lady of the Mount R.C. Church, Warren. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3-5 p.m. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers please send donations to a charity of your choice, in his memory would be appreciated.
