Obituary of Ceil Lippman
Ceil Taub Lippman of Boynton Beach, Florida, wife of Norman Lippman, died on Sunday, November 11th, 2007 at North Broward Medical Center in Deerfield Beach.
She was the daughter of the late Harry and Jenny Taub and is also predeceased by her two brothers William and Milton Taub.
She is survived by her husband Norman: daughter Joanne Leibovitz and her husband Mitchell; son Jonathan Lippman; grandmother to Dana and Dan Leibovitz and his wife Nancy; great-grandmother to Kaiya. Ceil is also survived by her beloved brothers and sisters-in-law Bernard, Myrna, Robert and Norma Lippman.
An active member of the Jewish Community in Plainfield, Ceil had fond memories of the many hours spent at the JCC playing handball and other sports where she was often the only female. As an adult, Ceil took up golf with such passion and competitiveness that she quickly became one of the better female players at her club. She and Norman were fixtures at Twin Brooks Country Club until Normans retirement in 1987 when they settled in Florida.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 15th at 11:00 at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield. Interment will follow at Hebrew Cemetery, South Plainfield.
