Obituary of John J. Eskesen

Mr. John J. Eskesen, age 68, died on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at his home. John was born and raised in Plainfield and has lived in Hillsborough for the past 30 years. He had owned and operated Josephs Jewelry Store, which was located in Plainfield. John was a communicant of St. Mary R.C. Church in Plainfield and was also one of their trustees. John is survived by his brother, Daniel Eskesen and his wife Janice of Manahawkin; two sisters, Mary Slover of South Plainfield and Catherine Pellerano of Plainfield. He is also remembered by a great many loving nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 8th at 10:30 a.m. from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield followed by a 11:30 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Mary R.C. Church, Plainfield. Interment will be in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield. Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Mary R.C. Church, 516 West 6th Street, Plainfield, NJ 07060.
