Obituary of Audrey Sterner

Audrey Clark Sterner, age 78, died on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at her home. She was born and raised in Canada and had lived in California, Europe and New York before moving to New Jersey in 1963. Prior to marrying and raising her family, Mrs. Sterner had pursued a career as an X-Ray Technician. Mrs. Sterner was a very active member of the Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church and did much volunteering with Stephen Ministry of the church. She also belonged to the Literary Club in Bound Brook. She is predeceased by her husband, Axel G. Sterner in 2007 and her sister Lois Clark. Surviving are her sons, David Sterner and his wife, Brenda of CO and Douglas Sterner of Martinsville; her daughter, Sara Stacey and her husband Paul of NH; her brother, Rodney Clark of Canada ; her sister, Beryl Shorounis of Canada and her grandchildren, Kayla, Kassia, David, Axel and Karissa Sterner of CO and Christina, Michael and Rebecca Stacey of NH. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29th at 2:00 p.m. at Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church, 44 Church Street Liberty Corner followed by interment at Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Stephen Ministry, at the church address. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Higgins Home for Funerals, Watchung, NJ.
