Obituary of Mary Jo DeCarlo

Mary Jo DeCarlo Bridgewater: Mary Jo DeCarlo, 63, of Bridgewater died Thursday, January 03, 2008, with her loving family and friends by her side. Born March 9, 1944, in Morgantown, WV, she was a daughter of the late John Marcucci and Dorothy (Oliverio) Marcucci. Her life exemplified a role-model wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She brought people together to share her love of painting, cooking, reading, and overall insatiable curiosity. Her contagious smile touched many lives. She bravely faced ovarian cancer for 18 months. Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Robert DeCarlo; a son, Bob DeCarlo and expecting wife Mary Tuohy and Baby DeCarlo; a daughter, Robin and her Husband Don Conners, with Brandon, Chad, and Alexandra; as well as sisters Dorothy Withrow of Michigan, and Vickie Wiles, and Barbara Bannister of Virginia. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 7 at 9:15 at Higgins Home for Funerals 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung NJ followed by a 10 :00 am funeral Mass and celebration of her life at Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville, NJ. Followed by a burial at Holy Cross in Bernardsville, NJ. We will have an informal lunch at Blessed Sacrament approximately at 1 PM. Visiting will be on Sunday, January 6 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
