Obituary of Kathleen Importico

Kathleen (Hunt) Importico, age 84, died on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Kathleen was born and raised in Bloomfield and lived in Watchung for the past 30 years. Kathleen graduated from Bloomfield High School; she worked for L. Bamberger and Company for a while and also worked at Mountainside Hospital as a Nurses Aide. She is a communicant of St. Mary Stony Hill R.C. Church and a member of the Watchung Seniors. Kathleen was a great homemaker caring for her family. She is predeceased by her parents, Halsey Hunt and Lillian Rudolph and her husband, Frank Importico Sr. Kathleen is survived by her two sons, Robert Importico and his wife Marlene; Frank Importico Jr. and his wife Judi; two daughters, Joan Marie and Susan Marie Importico; one brother, Halsey Hunt and also 5 grandchildren, Justin Hunt Importico, Ashley Carr Importico, Alyssa Marie Importico, Alli Catherine Importico and Anna-Marie Importico. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 16th at 10 a.m. in Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Boulevard, Watchung. Cremation is private.
