Obituary of Donald D. Maines, Sr.

Donald D. Maines Sr., age 71, died on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield. Donald was born in Roxbury, NJ and had lived in Long Hill Township before residing in North Plainfield 47 years ago. He was working for the North Plainfield Board of Education as a School Bus Driver for 10 years. Donald held the position as a Squire for the Watchung Elks Lodge #2252. He also enjoyed fishing and doing carpentry work around the house. Donald is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joanne Gilbert Maines of North Plainfield; his two sons, Donald D. Jr. and his wife Christine of Newtown, PA; Richard G. and his wife Cindy of Raritan; his daughter, Judy Miller and her husband Jim of North Plainfield; his sister, Mae Kingman and her husband Bill of Warren; four grandchildren, David and Jamie Lynn Miller, Greg and Scott Maines, Ashley and Anthony Jacobini. There will be only a visitation, which will be held on Wednesday, February 13th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral services are private.
