Obituary of Donald Palmer

Donald Edward Palmer, age 56, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Donald was born in Bronx, NY to Randolph Sinclair Palmer and Jeannette Vaughan. He was raised in Brooklyn moved to Plainfield in 1966 and resided in Piscataway 7 years ago. He worked for Forgione and the Pinto Brothers for a total of 20 years. Donald had a strong love for music and had an extensive Hess truck collection. He also had a large pet fish collection. Donald loved his all his nieces and nephews and was very giving. He is survived by his stepdaughter, Novella Barlow of Roselle; his brother, Randolph Palmer Jr. of Florida; his two sisters, Annette James of Delaware and Sandy Palmer of Plainfield; five nieces, Tonya, Tonika, Shanette, Sandra, Monique; two nephews, Michael and Jason; 11 great nieces and nephews and one expected. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 16 at 10 a.m. in the Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9 to 10 a.m. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
