Obituary of Roslyn Sack

Roslyn Cohen Sack, age 79, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 5 after a long illness in Glastonbury, CT. Born in Plainfield the daughter of Morris and Minnie Cohen, she lived in North Plainfield and graduated from North Plainfield High School. She worked as a bookkeeper at the Jewish Community Center in Plainfield and was a member of Temple Beth El. Ros spent many wonderful years in the Plainfield area with her family and life long friends before moving to Connecticut to live with her daughter in 2001. She was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Seymour Sack in 1984. She is survived by her children, Bruce (Barbara) of Belleville, NJ; Stephen (Cornelia) of Brussels, Belgium; Debra McCormack (Dennis) of Glastonbury, CT.; Jodi LHeureux (Paul) of Savannah, GA.; her brother, Irving Cohen (Beverly) of Middlesex, NJ; her sister, Hannah Cohen of New York City; her grandchildren, Jason Sack, Michael McCormack, Eliza Sack, Devon, Wren and Kai LHeureux and her nieces Elisa and Marcy Cohen. Funeral Services will be on Sunday, March 9, 2008 at 11:00 am at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield followed by interment at Hebrew Cemetery, South Plainfield.
