Obituary of Josephine Servodio

Josephine Servodio, 91, devoted Mother and loving Grandmother, died Sunday, March 16, 2008 at Ashbrook Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Josephine resided in Toms River until 2 years ago when she moved to Warren. She lived in Scotch Plains for only a short time. Josephine was the daughter of the late Charles and Carmela (Capostagno) Cippola and wife of the late Michael Servodio. Surviving are three daughters, Mary S. Hood of Watchung, NJ, Camille S. Biros of Bethesda, MD and Jo-Ann Hunt of Upper Dublin Township, PA, and four grandchildren, Austin and Judd Hood and Jason and Amie Biros. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 18, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, New Jersey. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 19 at 9:30 a.m. at the Higgins Home, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Marys Stony Hill Church, Watchung, N.J. followed by interment at St. Josephs Cemetery, Toms River, NJ.
