Obituary of Alicia Hutchison

Alicia Morales Hutchison, 79, died Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Baracaldo, Spain, Alicia resided in Spain, England and Mexico before moving to New Jersey. She recently moved to her sons home in Somerville. Mrs. Hutchison was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Millington Baptist Church and was a former member of a knitting club in Martinsville. Her husband of 53 years, James J. Hutchison, predeceased her in 2006. Surviving are two sons, James J. Hutchison, Jr. and his wife Mary Belle of Somerville and Robert C. Hutchison and his wife Suzanne of Newtown, PA, five grandchildren, Michele Worster, Melissa, Melanie, Emily and Peter Hutchison and three great grandchildren, Lily and Charlie Worster and Aaron Santo. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 8 at 10 am at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, followed by interment at Somerset Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Basking Ridge. Visitation will be on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
