Obituary of Jeanne T. Kolator

Jeanne T. (Mikos) Kolator, age 83, died on Friday, April 4, 2008 at Atlantic Hospice in Morristown. She was born in Krasno, Poland and came to the United States through Ellis Island at the age of 7. She had resided in Irvington and moved to Warren where she lived from 1965 to 2001. Most recently, she had lived in Basking Ridge. During World War II, she was active in the Civil Air Patrol out of Newark Airport. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Kolator was a secretary for Harris Graphics in Warren for over 25 years. She was a communicant and Eucharistic Minister at Our lady of the Mount Church and also belonged to the Rosary and Alter Society. She also belonged to the Young at Heart Dancers, the Spring Ridge Social Club, the Basking Ridge Leisure Club and was active at the Senior Center in Warren. Mrs. Kolator is predeceased by her husband, John T. Kolator in 1999. Surviving are her son, John T. Kolator, Jr. and his wife, Claudia of Bedminster; her daughters, Donna Java and her husband, John of Warren and Alice Kolator and her companion, Will Von Bischoffshausen of Summit. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 7th at 10:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at Our Lady of the Mount Church. Entombment will be at St. Marys Stony Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
