Obituary of Dominick George Zaffarese

Dominick George Zaffarese, age 91, died peacefully on Sunday April 6, 2008 at Harborside Healthcare in Bridgewater. Born in New York, New York, he had most recently lived in Dunellen Mr. Zaffarese worked as a laborer for Tenny Engineering in Union for many years. He was a member of the Irvington Police Reserves and the Holy Name Society of Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ in Irvington, NJ. Mr. Zaffarese is predeceased by his beloved wife of 66years Mary Agnes (Babriecki) Zaffarese (March 2006). Surviving are his two beloved daughters, Julia Reilly and Mary Ann Chambers six grandchildren; Brenda Green, James Wioland, Julie Rutherford, Joseph Reilly, Kenneth Chambers, and John David Reilly, and five great-grandchildren; Jonathan Reilly, Nicole Green, Sydnee Wioland, Nina Green and Savannah Wioland. Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 12, 2008 at 9:00 am at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ, followed by a 10:00 am Mass of the Resurrection at St. Josephs RC Church in North Plainfield. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 7-9 and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 at Higgins Home For Funerals.
