Obituary of Valeiria Franscina Boyce

Valeiria Franscina Boyce, age 64, died on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at St. Claires Hospital in Dover. She was born and raised in Barbados, West Indies, came to the United States in the 1960s and had lived in Summit for several years before moving to Plainfield. Ms. Boyce was a nurse for over 25 years at John E.. Runnells Hospital in Berkeley Heights. She enjoyed cooking. Ms. Boyce is survived by her son, Carson D. Pitt; her daughter, Patricia Pitt; her sister, Eleanor Belgrave; many nephews and nieces; her granddaughter, Sharon Owens and 2 other grandchildren; her 1st great-grandchild, Samara Owens and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th St., Plainfield followed by interment at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains. Visitation will be on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
