Obituary of Viola Rhunette Mitchell

A gathering for Viola Rhunette Mitchell, 84, born in Newark, NJ and a resident of Plainfield, NJ for the last 25 years, will be on Friday, April 25, 2008, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield, NJ 07060. She passed over to the heavens of glory on Saturday, April 19, 2008. Viola Mitchell worked for the City of Plainfield Senior Center, as a Transportation Coordinator before her retirement. She enjoyed being a great help to the seniors and loved to travel. She moved to Plainfield, NJ to be closer to her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. A wonderful sister to Lillian Womack (deceased), doting mother and grandmother to daughter and son-in-law, Mable and James Uzcategui-Gaymon; grandchildren, Christopher (deceased), Lachelle, Laverne, James and Vincent Uzcategui-Gaymon, Germine and her husband Xavier Lawrence. Great-grandchildren, Barry, Jr. Loren, Andrew and Martin. Great friend to Cora Belin, and a host of other family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in the name of Viola R.
