It’s been 13 years since your passing. Ryan is learning to drive, and has turned into a a handsome young man. He had to stop playing hockey due to a knee injury, however he loves golf and plans to pursue it in college. Just one more year and he will be going off to college! I saw a male and female cardinal yesterday. How you used to love to watch the birds. There are so many things that remind me of you. Clothes hanging out on a clothes line, birds singing, the American Legion, strawberries remind me of the warm bisquick shortcake you would make for dinner in the summer. Mashing up the strawberries with just a little sugar to put on top with milk. YUM! I think of you often and miss you! Love you mom❤️ Love, Sandra

It's been four years now...There have been so many times I wish I could call you up and tell you about your grandson. He's getting so big now and loves playing ice hockey. I still remember the day we laid you to rest...he was only 3 but was so grown up for 3. He knew we needed a little cheering up. I was carrying him in my arms and he said to the people behind us in his grown up little voice says, "Do you know why the cookie went to the doctors?" The people behind went right along with him and said, "No, why?" and he said..."Cause he was feeling a little crummy." You would have loved to have been able to see him now....Miss you Mom...Love you, Sandra

I remember meeting Ilene when I was 10 or 11 yrs, old.Everard brought her home to meet the family. She was sitting on top of a ice chest.I liked her from the first time I met her. I remember as a teenager visiting at Reinman Rd. for 2 weeks. Also visiting with Dad Mom and Wally before we were married. Felt welcomed and stopping in on our way home from down south. Just give a call and it was always "Come up and have breakfast." We could never leave to go home until we went for pancakes [homemade]. The morning after the funeral we went to Perkins Rest. for guess what pancakes. Darryl and Ev went with us. Ev ordered pancakes instead of his usual toast. We will sure miss her in Wilmington, Mass.

Aunt Ilene:
We got back last night from saying good bye to you and I still can't believe you are gone. I guess I always thought I had time to tell you how much you mean to me. I'm glad you knew this baby is a boy even though took for granted that you would be here in the summer and be able to meet my son. I love you and I know you will be looking down on everyone.
Love you always and forever

"Are you ready to play some Pinochle?" or "We need a fourth for Whist". Boy, did we have some fun times over the years. When people touch our lives and an impact is made more than any of us know at the time. You will always be a piece of me and I thank you for that. Make sure you stop by for a visit at the Main Street house and save me a seat at the card table.
I wish I could be there with all of you today. My heart will be thinking of each of you.
Love,
Diane

I remember my visits to NJ when I was young and how well she cared for me a week longer when Ron was late being born. I was so little then, must have been 3 or 4. I was home sick so she called my mom and I talked to her. Made me feel better. Thank you Aunt Ilene. The family is in my prayers. Peace be with you as you go through this hard time. Love you all, Cheryl
