Obituary of Marie Agnes Maxwell

Marie Agnes Maxwell, 87, died Saturday, April 26, 2008. Born in Brooklyn, she resided in Queens for most of her life. In 1998 Marie moved to Warren, NJ. Mrs. Maxwell was employed as an office manager for many years. She was an avid reader whose hobbies included sewing, knitting and crocheting. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua, Queens and Our Lady of the Mount Church in Warren. Her husband, George G. Maxwell, two brothers, Thomas and Francis Healy and two sisters, Veronica Kassheimer and Catherine Fiore all predeceased her. Surviving are her daughter, Bonnie Maxwell Sauma and her husband Bassam and her three grandchildren, Ryan, Kathryn Marie and Kevin Sauma, all of Warren. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 29 at 9:45 am from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:15 am Mass of Resurrection at Our Lady of the Mount Chapel, Warren and interment at St. Johns Cemetery, Middle Village, NY. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Contributions in her memory to the Alzheimers Association, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834-1365 would be deeply appreciated.
