Obituary of Catherine Marie Mellin

Catherine Marie Mellin, age 88, died on Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Care One in Morristown. Born and raised in Jersey City, she graduated from Dickinson High School and had lived in Union City for many years. Catherine worked for the New York City Public Library. As a young girl she was a member of the Sodality Club in Jersey City. She was a frequent communicant. In her spare time she enjoyed plants and loved playing with her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She will be sorely missed by her close-knit group of friends. Survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Thursday, May 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at St. James R.C. Church, Basking Ridge followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge.
