Obituary of Eric Bianco
Eric Louis Bianco, age 65, died on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Center For Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains. Born in Elizabeth, Eric grew up in Linden, had lived in Roselle and has been a resident of Watchung since 1991.
Eric received his BA in Political Science from Bloomfield College and also attended Kiel University in Kiel, Germany, becoming fluent in German.
Mr. Bianco served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He was the founder of Centurian Deposit in Roselle in the early 1970's, retiring in 1997, holding 11 U.S. patents.
Eric loved sailing, and was the owner of several boats. He was an avid collector of antique guns, and enjoyed skeet shooting. He was a member of Central Jersey Rifle and Pistol club for over 30 years.
He is predeceased by his parents, Louis and Anne Bianco.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 27 years, Linda Schweitzer Bianco; his son, Alexander and his daughter, Lauren. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and two nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday April 24, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the Shrine of St. Joseph's in Stirling.
