Obituary of Elinore Nesser

Elinore Frances Nesser (Grammie) died peacefully on Tuesday, May 20th, 2008 at her home in Green Brook. She was born in New York City, NY. She was raised in the Bronx and had lived in Newton, MA and Fairview Park, Ohio before moving to New Jersey. Mrs. Nesser retired from the Boston/Newton Marriott in 1982. During her retirement years she enjoyed walking, reading and classical movies. Her real passion was her family. Her favorite times were those that involved her children and grandchildren: family gatherings, going out to dinner, Sunday drives to Mona Ami and side trips to AC. Mrs. Nesser is survived by her son Jack S. Nesser and his wife Johanne; her daughter Jill Abramo and her husband Anthony; her grandchildren Theresa Abramo, John Abramo and his wife Andrea, Tiffany Nesser and Brittany Nesser and her great-grandchildren John Ciatto, Michael, Joseph and Sara Abramo. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday June 28th, 2008 at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ 07069. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Community Care Hospice, Somerville, NJ.
