Obituary of Aniello Ianniello

Aniello Ianniello, age 83, died on Sunday, June 22, 2008 at his home in Bridgewater, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Naples, Italy, he moved to the United States in 1956, residing in Brooklyn before moving to Neshanic Station in 1979, then living in Bridgewater for the past 15 years. Mr. Ianniello was the owner and founder of Alfonsos Trattoria in Somerville for many years. He enjoyed cooking for his family, drinking wine and watching soccer games. Surviving is his wife Yolanda (Tuccillo) Ianniello; his son Anthony Ianniello and his wife Dawn; two daughters Helen Mitrani and her husband Joseph and Jennifer Guzman and her husband Ed; his sisters Maria Troia and her husband Antonio and Adrianna Gerardi; seven grandchildren Elizabeth, Jennifer, John, Yolanda, Gabriella, Niel Guzman and Neil Ianniello. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:00 Mass of Resurrection at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, Martinsville. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 1-3 and 6-9 p.m. Interment will be at St. Bernards Cemetery, Bridgewater.
