Obituary of Patrick J. Higginbotham

Mr. Patrick J. Higginbotham, 57, died Monday, June 23, 2008 at his home. Born in Plainfield, son of the late Clement B. and Anna V.(Speranza) Higginbotham, he resided in North Plainfield and briefly in South Plainfield before moving to Virginia in 1998. A 1968 North Plainfield High School graduate, Patrick then completed a four year course in electrical trades at Somerset Co. Vocational Technical School and was last employed at Light Age, Inc. in Somerset as a electro mechanical technician and was previously employed as a production manager at American Ultraviolet in Murray Hill. Patrick enjoyed completing crossword puzzles each day, vegetable gardening and was an avid Yankee fan. Surviving are a son, Shawn Higginbotham of Green Brook, a brother, James and his wife Learlene of Bryson City, NC and a sister, JoAnne Stewart and her husband Robert of Beach Haven. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, July 9th at 11:00 a.m. with a gathering beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to Habitat for Humanity, 121 Habitat St., Americus, GA 32709 would be appreciated.
