Obituary of Samuel T. Favina

Samuel T. Favina, age 87, died on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at his home in Watchung. He was born in Orange and raised in East Orange and had lived in Watchung since 1955. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Favina was the General Manager for Bonds Clothing Store in Menlo Park Mall. He was a Communicant of St. Marys Stony Hill Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and building model airplanes. Mr. Favina is predeceased by his wife, Bertha M. Favina in 2003. He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Favina and his wife, Amy of Warren; his grandchildren Rex and Jade Macaylo and a niece, Geraldine DellAquila. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 18th at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Marys Stony Hill Church.
