Obituary of Santo Sacca

Santo Sacca, age 68, died on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. He was born in Italy, moved to the United States in 1955 and had lived in Elizabeth, South Plainfield and Warren before moving to Florida and Waretown, NJ. Prior to his retirement in 2010, Mr. Sacca was the Director of Sales for Tuscan Dairy in Union. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and being with his family. Mr. Sacca is predeceased by his siblings, Carmelo, Ferdinando John Sacca, Vincenzo Sacca and Domenica Giovanozzo. He is survived by his sons, Danny Sacca, Tommy Sacca and his wife, Susani; his brother, Antonio Sacca; his sisters, Katerina Fedele, Maria Damiano, Frances Smith and Eufamia Sacca. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will begin on Monday, April 29th at 8:15 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals , 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Elizabeth. Interment will be at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
